B & R Stores now selling NebraskaBison.com Gourmet Bison Franks

Bison meat continues to grow in popularity and it's getting easier to find then ever, even starting to pop up in grocery stores in the Lincoln area. Bison meat has grown popular due to its lean nutrition profile - low in fat, calories and cholesterol, while high in protein, however it has become a mainstay of many peoples' diets because of its great taste. Additionally, bison are raised without hormones, steroids or antibiotics.
The Gourmet Bison Franks are particularly popular because of their straight forward ingredient list (bison, water, vinegar, salt, spices, sugar, paprika, celery powder, beet powder, garlic, onion, sea salt) and that they are made with just bison meat and seasoning. The franks contain no preservatives, no fillers, no MSG and no added nitrates or nitrites.
Russ's Market and Super Saver join a growing list of local retailers carrying locally raised bison meat products including: Leon's Gourmet Grocer, Ideal Market and Grow Nebraska stores.
