I have been enjoying the heck out of these and our 4 oz. Bison Bratwursts this summer… and wanted to take a minute to tell you about my most favorite way to enjoy them!
Bison Hot Dogs & Bratwursts over the campfire
That’s right. You just can’t beat these bison hot dogs or bratwursts when you roast them over an open flame like a campfire.
Since our Bison Bratwursts and Bison Franks are already fully cooked, roasting them is all about heating them up thoroughly and getting a nice char on the sausage. Roasting them over the open fire, gives them an excellent char and delicious smokey flavor.
Plus – it’s so fun to sit around the campfire with friends or family and enjoying a beautiful summer evening.
Just look at the delicious smokey char that Bison Bratwurst is getting!
Not to mention… if you’ve already got the fire going and the skewers out, there’s no reason not to toast some marshmallows for dessert once the hot dogs are devoured!
And there it is… my tasty Bison Bratwurst, topped with sauerkraut, fresh off the skewer!
